Another concealed carrier stops a robber an armed robbery. I wonder why gun control advocates tell us it never happens - we write about it each and every day.

This time it was in Hialeah, Florida; one of the rougher neighborhoods in the Miami area. A man approached a fruit vendor at his stand near West 29th Lane and 72nd Street. As the man got close he drew his gun and demanded money.

Another man on the scene, a 68-year-old licensed concealed weapons carrier, saw the robbery happening and decided to act. The concealed carrier drew his gun and opened fire on the robber - wounding him critically and ending the encounter.

While we don't have the name of the senior citizen who ended the encounter we can say thank you for stopping a criminal long before police could have arrived.
